Jonathan had a short break from school this month. He finished his summer anatomy course on August 2nd and did well. He is now a tutor and teacher's assistant for anatomy this term. The following week was full of orientation activities (most of which, family could not attend), including the White Coat Ceremony (family was of course invited to this event). Many professional schools (including medical, dental, optometry, and pharmacy schools, etc.) have a tradition to hold a ceremony before they embark on the adventure to become a doctor. The students are "robed" in their white coats and the Hippocratic Oath is read. It felt very much like a graduation - if only! I felt so proud of Jonathan. After a week of orientation, we finally got to be with Jonathan! Here are some pictures from our little break:
