Marvelous March

Here are some pictures that highlight the month of March this year:

First off.....a 5K "Run to Get Lucky" race.  And yes...the pictures can't hide it....we are expecting our 4th child in the middle of medical school!  Call me crazy, but I am thrilled (yes, this was planned, as some people have questioned).  The 5k race went well.  Ran the whole time.  I was about 21 weeks along here.  Oh, baby's due date?  July 27th.  It's a boy :)

Thanks Jessica for going suuuuuper slow with me!

Claire loves to help out.  She also loves to wear her sweaters around her shoulders like a cape.

We stopped in Central Point on our way down to Cali to drop off some boxes.  Look at all that space!!!!  We can't wait to move here next month.

Most of Jacob's spring break was spent in Northern California, visiting with family...and meeting my new NEPHEW!  He is adorable, isn't he?

Jonathan even took one day off during spring break!!!  We went up to the Portland area and hiked around some beautiful falls.

When we were about 1/2 mile from our car, the rain really started to pour.  When we got to the car, we opened the back and threw the kids in.  Besides, what was under our raincoats, we were completely drenched.  Luckily Jonathan (the genius) suggested we bring extra clothing.  It made for quite an entertaining event to get us all changed in the car.

And we met up with Nikita in Portland and forced her to come to Lebanon with us.

We can't seem to have guests visit us without taking them on a well-loved hike around McDowell Creek Falls.

If you can't tell what this is supposed to be a picture of, there is the end of a snake in the middle of the picture.

Thanks Nikita for coming out to visit us!!!!  We had so much fun with you!

Fun February

Yes, it is May; but here are some pictures from February.   Maybe by October I will have pictures posted from this month :).

Claire got her first real haircut (by me).

Before

After

Just a little volleyball on a rainy Sunday.  Good thing these kids have such a creative dad.

Happy Valentines Day!!!  This is us at breakfast.  The kids were super excited about their package from Grandma Jones.

They were also super excited about making and eating sugar cookies.

Excitement?  Fear for cavities?

Oh, yes, and did we mention that Olivia loves greek yogurt?  She is not typically this messy with her food....but with yogurt, she just needs the full experience.

Uncle Jordan came to visit!!!!

Even though it had been a while since we had seen Jordan, the kids clung to him immediately.

Claire took some pictures of Jordan.

Olivia's favorite family home evening game is "ring around the rosies".

She never falls though.  She believes in being the strong one in the family and helps others to get back up.

A friend of ours had a birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheeses.  The kids were thrilled to say the least.

Claire is always willing to help me cook in the kitchen - especially when cookies are involved.

Olivia is always willing to make a mess in the kitchen - especially when raisins are involved.

Jacob got student of the month again.  We are so proud!

We went with some good friends of ours (they also had a couple of free tickets) to see and OSU gymnastics meet.  Of course, we had a blast.

Jacob is a HUGE beaver fan.  He bleeds orange and black (OSU's colors).
I took the kids to Salem for a few hours....
