March 27th, 2008

March has been a momentous month for the Wright family. Jonathan has less than two weeks of school and then we will be off to Oregon! We are both very excited to move on from this phase in our lives and be closer to home. Jacob and Stacee have been anxious for some warmer weather and it snowed some more this week. We just can't seem to have spring soon enough. Jacob and Stacee were also sick with the flu this month ( a first for Jacob). Poor kid just wanted to be with his mommy all week....right by my side or in my arms. It made it hard to get things done but it was nice just to hang out and relax for the week (after I scrub the vomit off of the couch).
The biggest news that we have is that Jacob learned to go from his tummy to sitting up and then to crawling all within a few minutes of each other. It was a big morning for him! Then a few days later he learned how to climb over things and pull himself to standing! He is quite the mobile little boy now. He loves to explore under the table and in bathroom (strange....). It is so great to be able to watch him learn more about the world. Lately, he has had a fascination with the light that comes through the window. He will watch the beam and crawl to it and then look out the window. You can tell that he is really trying to figure this one out. I guess he is to young to tell him about photons and wavelengths.
I attached some videos of mobile Jacob. Enjoy!
