The Enchanted Forest

When Grandma and Grandpa Jones came to visit over Labor Day weekend, we were destined to have some fun.  They decided to spoil us and take us to the Enchanted Forest.  Although it is not pictured, both Claire and Jacob rode on their first roller coaster - and had a blast.  Claire giggled during each of the super fast parts.

One of Jacob and Claire's favorite rides was the Frog Hopper.

They rode this ride multiple times.

Olivia watches for Jacob and Grandpa to come down the log ride.

The log ride was Jacob's first ever grown up ride (Claire wasn't tall enough).  I couldn't believe how brave he was.  He loved every bit of it. Here he is after his second time.

This ride was not exactly Claire's favorite.

Olivia's favorite part was the slides.

First Day of School Before and After Pictures

Jacob's First Day of First Grade!!!!

Teacher:  Mrs. Tester

School:  Pioneer Elementary in Lebanon, OR (yes, I need to document that, considering we still have a few moves in our future)

BFF's:  Brody and Michael (and soon to be Tristan, as I was told tonight at dinner).  And I will add Alex, because he loves to race with her at recess (and she might still be one of his girlfriends..she was his first girlfriend after all...because she is fast :) ).

Here is our "before" picture.

The girls decided to have high fevers while Jacob was at school so that we could cuddle, read books, and watch movies all day (luckily Jacob already got this bug that displayed itself on Sunday).

And here is our "after" picture.  Jacob's favorite thing to do at recess is to race.  This time, it got a little too competitive.  It was fun to get my first call from the nurse 2 1/2 hours after the school year started.

We are supposed to keep our eyes open for any unusual activity.
