Medical school is actually not all stress and tears - I am blessed with many sources of joy in my crazy life.

| Claire is just too much fun to photograph. |

| Hanging out in the hood. |

| Claire and her buddy Cosy (which is short for Cossette). |
 |
| They insisted on me taking a picture of their backs. |
Olivia has been quite the talker lately. She loves to come up to me and "talk". Full conversations are going on in her head. She does say some real words. "Jacob" was her first word. She also says "more, milk, all done, get down, daddy, mommy" (though, she ALWAYS says mommy in a tone of voice indicating that she needs something - "mommy!". I think that is because that is how she has heard my name from the other kids), she also says, "Hi?" (yep, as a question), "bye-bye, grandma, grandpa, and pray". She has also learned that it is really cool to flush the toilet.
Get ready for too many pictures of Olivia with her first ponytail. I don't know why, but I just think it is super cute.
Yep, I finished my first 10K in preparation my a half marathon in 2 WEEKS!

| Me with my running partners for the race. |

| My biggest fans. |

| Almost there.... |
 |
| Getting closer! |
 |
| We did it! Jessica and I have been training together for the half marathon. It was nice and windy throughout the whole race (there was sarcasm in that statement - the wind not only made my hair look awesome, it also pushed against us for nearly the whole race). |
As soon as the race was finished, we ran over to the church for our friend, Briziery's baptism. Jonathan and I have been blessed this past year as we have watched a family transform (the husband was baptized a member of the church, but wasn't active). I might have been a little emotional during my talk on baptism.
Between Briziery's baptism and the Relief Society Broadcast that evening, we had a pretty good weekend. Still, even some of my greatest sources of joy can teach me great lessons in parenting - like don't leave an open container of vinaigrette on the kitchen table. Olivia thought it would be really fun to put in all over her body and the floor.
